Construction Technical Drawing is one of the core modules assessed in the Technical Secondary Schools (TSS) National Examination Level 5 for students in the Building Construction (BDC) trade. The subject equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to prepare, interpret, and communicate construction drawings used in engineering and building projects. According to NESA’s assessment standards, students are expected to identify drawing materials and instruments, interpret lines and symbols, apply scales and dimensions, perform projections, and produce accurate construction plans.
The Construction Technical Drawing TSS National Examination L5 (2025–2026) evaluates students’ ability to produce neat and accurate technical drawings while following standard drafting principles. Candidates should be able to interpret building plans, elevations, sections, symbols, dimensions, and title blocks, as well as apply drawing conventions used in the construction industry. The subject is scheduled as part of the official Building Construction national examination timetable for the 2025–2026 school year.
