RwandAir Ltd, Rwanda’s national flag carrier, is inviting applications from qualified and competent candidates for the position of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician. The successful candidate will work in the Ground Services Department at Kigali International Airport and report to the GSE Supervisor.
Job Purpose
The GSE Technician will be responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling ground support equipment maintenance activities. The role also involves ensuring that maintenance resources are deployed effectively and efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
- Ensure that maintenance records are completed after every maintenance activity.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Report security threats and incidents occurring during daily operations.
- Identify and report safety hazards, incidents and equipment defects during daily operations.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold at least an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Automobile Technology.
- Possession of a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
