Kent State University Scholarships and Academic Opportunities for Rwandan Students 2026
The Higher Education Council (HEC) has announced an opportunity for Rwandan students to pursue specialized undergraduate and graduate academic programs at Kent State University in Ohio, USA.
The opportunity is offered under a special tuition agreement established through a partnership between Kent State University and the Ministry of Education of Rwanda. Admitted Rwandan students will be eligible for a 50% reduction in tuition fees for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The program targets Rwandan students interested in high-demand academic fields, particularly engineering, cybersecurity, aviation, and related technologies.

50% Tuition Fee Reduction
Under the partnership, Rwandan students admitted to Kent State University will receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees.
The reduction applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Employment Opportunities in Rwanda
In addition to the tuition fee reduction, eligible students who successfully complete their studies are assured of employment opportunities in Rwanda’s aviation sector once they return to Rwanda.
Successful candidates will be recommended by the Ministry of Education.
