Algeria–Rwanda Government Scholarships 2026/2027
The Higher Education Council (HEC) has announced scholarships offered by the Government of Algeria to Rwandan students under the bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Algeria for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Available Fields of Study
The scholarships are available for Bachelor’s degree studies in:
- Medical Sciences
- Architecture
- Urban Planning and Urban Studies
- Mathematics and Computer Science
- Science and Technology
Required Application Documents
Interested applicants are required to submit:
- Application letter addressed to the Director General of HEC
- Copy of a valid passport or National Identity Card
- Copies of original-notified certificate and transcripts or result slip
- Birth certificate
- Medical certificate
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Recent colour passport photo
Eligibility Requirements
According to the announcement:
- Candidates must have a Senior Six result slip or certificate with a score of 80% or equivalent in the 2026 Senior Six National Examinations.
- Students who are already enrolled in local or foreign universities are not eligible to apply.

Applications must be submitted online through the HEC Management Information System (HECMIS).
