Heifer International Rwanda (HIR) has invited registered and interested companies to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of construction materials under the Partnership for Resilient and Inclusive Small Livestock Markets (PRISM) Project.
The procurement is identified under Agresso Work Order RW1338 and will cover designated locations in 88 sectors across 15 districts in Rwanda. Heifer International Rwanda is a nonprofit and international nongovernmental organization working with smallholder farmers and partners to improve livelihoods, strengthen agricultural value chains and support sustainable rural development.
In Rwanda, Heifer’s work includes dairy, poultry, small ruminants, fruits and vegetables and other agricultural value chains. Its Rwanda programme focuses on connecting smallholder farmers to markets, agricultural knowledge and financial opportunities.
The PRISM project works to strengthen small livestock value chains, including goat, sheep, pig and poultry production. Heifer reports that the project operates across 15 districts and supports livestock production, skills development and local market development.
Purpose of the Procurement
The purpose of this RFQ is to obtain the required quantities of construction materials, meeting the specified quality requirements, and deliver them to designated locations under the PRISM Project.
The procurement is divided into three lots.
A bidder may submit a quotation for one or more lots, but a bidder may be awarded a maximum of one lot. Each lot will be evaluated independently.
