Available Positions
1. Topographer (4 Positions)

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Producing contour lines using dump levels and A-frames.
- Reading maps and measuring slopes.
- Analyzing GIS data and producing maps with shapefiles.
- Demarcating land for radical and progressive terraces.
- Identifying waterways and cut-off drains.
- Calculating terrace spacing and vertical intervals.
- Supporting land terracing activities.
- Preparing and submitting technical reports.
- Performing other duties assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess one of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Topography (No experience required)
- Degree in Surveying and Geomatics Engineering (2 years’ experience)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying (1 year experience)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Sciences (1 year experience)
- Advanced Diploma in Surveying or Land Surveying (3 years’ experience)
- Advanced Diploma (A1) in Public Works (3 years’ experience)
- A2 Certificate in Public Works (5 years’ experience)
- A2 Certificate in Agriculture (5 years’ experience)

Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will supervise and coordinate:
- Progressive and radical terrace construction.
- Trench excavation and bund establishment.
- Grass strip establishment and agroforestry planting.
- Rehabilitation of degraded terraces.
- Drainage system construction and stabilization.
- Gully treatment and erosion control.
- Check dam construction.
- Wetland and riverbank stabilization.
- Soil fertility restoration.
- Environmental conservation activities.
- Other project duties assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agroforestry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Soil Sciences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Soil and Water Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Sciences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences
- Advanced Diploma in Agriculture Sciences
- Advanced Diploma in Crop Production
- Advanced Diploma in Agroforestry
- Advanced Diploma in Forestry
- A2 Certificate in Agronomy
Relevant work experience ranges from 0 to 5 years, depending on the qualification.
