1. Cooperative Relationship Manager
The Cooperative Relationship Manager will build and maintain relationships between Masaka Farms, dairy cooperatives, farmers, partners, financial institutions, government bodies and other stakeholders.
The position focuses on cooperative performance, milk supply agreements, farmer engagement, partnership development, problem resolution and strengthening the cooperative supplier network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience working with dairy cooperatives, farmer groups or agricultural supply chains in Rwanda.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of Rwanda’s dairy value chain and cooperative structures.
- Willingness to travel to rural cooperative and milk collection sites.
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda.
- English or French is preferred.
- Strong integrity, fairness and sound judgment.

2. Cooperative Relationship Assistant Manager
The Cooperative Relationship Assistant Manager will support the Cooperative Relationship Manager in working with dairy cooperatives supplying milk to Masaka Farms.
The position involves cooperative engagement, field visits, monitoring milk volumes and quality, data collection and handling routine cooperative concerns. It is a field-based role suitable for someone interested in developing broader cooperative relationship-management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in agriculture, cooperative engagement or field-based supply chains is preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
- Valid motorbike licence is an advantage.

3. Cooperative Site Manager
The Cooperative Site Manager will oversee daily operations at an assigned milk collection or cooperative site.
The position involves staff supervision, milk collection operations, equipment and cold-chain management, record keeping, site organization and coordination with the local cooperative.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or site-management experience is preferred.
- Understanding of milk collection, cold-chain handling and quality requirements.
- Basic financial and inventory-management skills.
- Strong integrity and reliability.
- Good communication and people-management skills.
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda.

4. Cooperative Quality Technicians
Cooperative Quality Technicians will conduct milk quality testing at cooperative and milk collection sites.
The position is responsible for helping ensure that milk received from cooperatives meets Masaka Creamery’s safety and quality standards before it reaches production.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Laboratory Sciences or a related field.
- Milk or dairy quality-testing experience is preferred.
- Strong technical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to use and maintain testing equipment.
- Willingness to travel to rural collection sites.

5. Cooperative Accountant
The Cooperative Accountant will support the financial management of Masaka Farms’ dairy cooperative supply network.
The position focuses on cooperative payments, financial reconciliation, payment records, milk volumes, pricing information, financial controls and audit documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA or another professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
- Accounting or finance experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and reconciliation.
- Understanding of financial controls.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda.
- English or French is preferred.
6. Quality Control Specialist
The Quality Control Specialist will support food safety, quality control and Good Manufacturing Practices across Masaka Farms’ operations.
The position works with Production, Quality, Laboratory, R&D, Warehouse, Procurement and other departments to maintain required product and process standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Quality Management, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field.
- Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, food production, dairy processing or laboratory operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation and GMP.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work across different departments.
- Ability to coach employees and trainees.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Rwandan Sign Language is an advantage.

7. Youth Shop Recruiter
The Youth Shop Recruiter will support Masaka Farms’ market-development activities through field-based market mapping and identification of potential sales opportunities.
The position involves visiting shops, supermarkets, mini-markets, restaurants, hotels and other potential points of sale, collecting market information and identifying potential customers and locations.
Qualifications
- Diploma, certificate or relevant training in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Data Collection, Market Research, ICT, Statistics, Community Development or a related field is an advantage.
- Fieldwork, market research, sales, marketing, survey or community-based experience is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in the field.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Ability to accurately collect and record information.
- Ability to use a smartphone for photos, videos, location capture and digital forms.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Honest and reliable.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good Kinyarwanda communication skills.
- English or other languages are an advantage.

8. Veterinarian
The Veterinarian will support dairy farmers and cooperatives in animal health, herd management, milk quality and sustainable dairy production.
The position involves working directly with farmers, cooperatives, milk collection teams, Quality, Procurement and other project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or another legally recognized veterinary qualification.
- Appropriate professional registration/licensing to practice in Rwanda.
- Knowledge of dairy cattle health and herd management.
- Understanding of animal nutrition, reproduction, disease prevention and welfare.
- Understanding of milk hygiene and raw milk quality.
- Willingness to work extensively in the field.
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with dairy farmers or cooperatives is an advantage.
- Willingness to work with Deaf and hearing colleagues.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Rwandan Sign Language is an advantage.
