CHANCEN Update: EACC September 2026 Applicants
CHANCEN International has provided an important update for applicants who applied through East African Christian College (EACC) for the September 2026 intake.
According to the information shown in the update, applicants who applied to EACC, appeared on the published list, received an email from CHANCEN and participated in the CHANCEN meeting are now proceeding through the next stage of the Income Share Agreement (ISA) financing process.
The official EACC announcement confirms that eligible candidates were to be communicated to by CHANCEN International for the next step.
CHANCEN ISA Application Requirements
The information provided lists the following requirements for applicants:
- At least 18–35 years old
- Rwandan National ID
- Recent passport photo
- Credit Report (CRB) from TransUnion Rwanda
- Signed Residence Confirmation Form
- Payment of the required application fee
Guardian Requirements
Applicants are also required to have guardians meeting the following requirements:
- Guardian aged 25–65 years
- Rwandan National ID
- Passport-size photograph
- Signed Residence Confirmation Form
- Civil Status Certificate of one guardian
The document explains that a guardian should be a Rwandan who knows the student’s behaviour and is willing and able to confirm the student’s interest and commitment under CHANCEN’s ISA financing model.
It also states that two legally married couples are considered one guardian, meaning an additional guardian is required where a married couple is used.
Important Information for Applicants
Being admitted to EACC does not automatically guarantee CHANCEN ISA financing. Students must meet CHANCEN’s separate ISA requirements and complete the required process with their guardians.

Semester Commitment Payment

- Advanced Diploma in General Nursing: RWF 50,000
- Advanced Diploma in Midwifery: RWF 50,000
- Diploma in Education in Child Development: RWF 10,000
- Bachelor of Business Administration in Monitoring and Evaluation: RWF 10,000
