Position Overview
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user experiences for the company’s web and mobile applications.
The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, software developers, and quality assurance teams to transform user requirements into effective digital products.
The role requires strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, prototyping, responsive interface design, usability testing, and modern design tools.
Key Responsibilities
The UI/UX Designer will perform the following duties:
1. User Research and Experience Design
- Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs.
- Create user personas, customer journey maps, user flows, and information architecture.
- Apply user-centered design principles when developing digital products.
- Identify usability challenges and recommend appropriate design improvements.
2. Interface Design and Prototyping
- Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces.
- Develop responsive user interface designs for web and mobile applications.
- Use appropriate design and prototyping tools to communicate design concepts.
- Maintain and improve the organization’s design system and UI component library.
3. Collaboration and Implementation
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
- Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and product demonstrations within Agile teams.
- Ensure consistency in branding and user experience across digital platforms.
4. Usability, Accessibility and Continuous Improvement
- Conduct usability testing and improve designs based on user feedback.
- Optimize applications for accessibility, responsiveness, and usability.
- Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Interested applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of professional UI/UX design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile application design projects.
- Proficiency in Figma, preferably, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, or ProtoPie.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development processes.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with the following additional experience and skills will have an advantage:
