Role Summary
The Performance Marketing Specialist will:
- Lead paid acquisition campaigns across platforms like Meta and Google
- Build robust tracking and attribution systems
- Analyse campaign data to drive continuous optimization and growth
- Improve visibility across the full acquisition funnel
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of marketing, analytics, and growth experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Plan and manage paid campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Optimize campaigns for lead generation and learner enrollment
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, audiences, and landing pages
- Scale high-performing campaigns and reduce inefficiencies
Conversion Tracking & Attribution
- Implement and manage tracking tools (Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager)
- Ensure accurate tracking of leads and conversion events
- Identify and fix tracking or data inconsistencies
Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Build dashboards to monitor campaign performance
- Track KPIs such as CTR, CPL, CPA, ROI
- Provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Growth Optimization
- Analyse trends and audience behavior
- Identify opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with marketing, recruitment, and community teams
- Align campaigns with enrollment goals and market priorities
- Support events and community engagement initiatives
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in performance marketing or growth marketing
- Proven experience with:
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Ads
- Google Tag Manager
- Conversion tracking tools
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with dashboards (e.g., Looker Studio)
- Ability to run structured A/B testing
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kigali
- Legal authorization to work in Rwanda
- Willingness to work on-site full-time
