Job Overview
The Senior Growth Data Analyst will work closely with Lodgify’s Growth team, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that support business decisions.
The successful candidate will analyze the customer journey from acquisition through activation, conversion, and retention, identify opportunities for growth, design experiments, monitor business KPIs, and develop scalable data models.
The role combines growth analytics, marketing analytics, data modeling, experimentation, business intelligence, and AI-enabled analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Growth and Funnel Analytics
The Senior Growth Data Analyst will:
- Conduct end-to-end funnel analysis.
- Identify customer drop-off points and conversion opportunities.
- Analyze acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention.
- Partner with Growth teams to measure and improve funnel performance.
- Identify new opportunities to increase customer value.
- Track key business metrics such as ARR, churn, LTV, and CAC.
A/B Testing and Experimentation
The successful candidate will:
- Design and lead A/B tests.
- Develop appropriate success metrics for experiments.
- Analyze experimental results.
- Evaluate statistical significance.
- Recommend actions based on experiment results.
- Propose new experiments to improve conversion rates and customer value.
Data Modeling and Analytics
The role involves:
- Developing and maintaining data models using dbt.
- Building scalable analytical structures.
- Working with BigQuery and optimizing queries.
- Applying data modeling techniques such as star and snowflake schemas.
- Developing data marts and slowly changing dimensions.
- Maintaining documentation and data-quality standards.
- Building dashboards and analytical reports.
Business Intelligence and Data Visualization
The Senior Growth Data Analyst will:
- Create dashboards that communicate business performance.
- Transform complex data into clear insights.
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate analytics into practical business recommendations.
- Promote effective data visualization and storytelling.
AI-Enabled Analytics
The position also involves using AI tools to accelerate data analysis, automate recurring reporting activities, improve insight generation, and support self-service analytics.
Stakeholder Collaboration
The successful candidate will work closely with:
- Marketing teams.
- Product teams.

- Growth teams.
- Other cross-functional stakeholders.
The role requires the ability to connect analytics with business objectives and communicate recommendations effectively.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
- At least 5 years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably within SaaS or Growth environments.
- Proven experience in funnel analysis and optimization.
- Strong experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including window functions and query optimization.
- Experience with BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse.
- Experience using dbt for data transformation and modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, Metabase, or similar platforms.
- Strong business acumen and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical data insights into business recommendations.
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve analytics workflows.
Additional Skills
