Job Purpose
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial management, strategic planning, budgeting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls to support efficient mining operations and long-term business growth.
- Prepare accurate and IFRS-compliant financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and business planning processes.
- Monitor operational costs and conduct financial performance analysis.
- Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Rwandan tax laws, mining regulations, and financial governance requirements.
- Oversee mineral revenue accounting and export financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, payroll processing, and financial forecasting.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance team.
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, HR, and other departments on financial planning.
- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar finance management role.
- Strong knowledge of Rwanda tax regulations and auditing practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
