Job Description
EDC is recruiting a Data Collectors’ Pool for research projects (e.g., LARS 2025). Selected candidates will support fieldwork across Rwanda for 1 year, with flexible assignments.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct surveys, interviews, FGDs, and observations using tools like IDELA, STAR, or KoboToolbox.

Ensure accurate data collection (digital/paper) and ethical standards.

Engage with schools, teachers, parents, and communities.

Submit reports promptly and attend training sessions.
Location & Duration
-
Districts: Specify your base district in the application (e.g., Gasabo, Nyamasheke).
-
Assignments: Short-term (2 weeks) to long-term (3 months), with periods of inactivity.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
-
High school diploma (Bachelor’s in Education/Social Sciences preferred).

Experience in data collection or fieldwork.
-
Proficiency in Kinyarwanda & English; French is a plus.
-
Tech-savvy (Kobo Collect, Excel, smartphones).
Desirable Skills
-
Knowledge of Rwanda’s education system.
-
Experience working with children/teachers.
-
Willingness to travel to remote areas.
