About the EPOS Scholarship
Since 1987, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has funded a number of scholarships for students from developing countries who wish to study development-related subjects in Germany. EPOS (Entwicklungsbezogene Postgraduierten Studiengänge) is a scholarship programme for development-related postgraduate courses. The Master’s degree programme “Sustainable Development Management” is part of EPOS and can therefore award several scholarships to excellent students from developing countries each year.

Selection Criteria and Eligibility Requirements
Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be from developing countries (refer to the DAAD list of eligible countries).

Hold a first qualifying degree in social sciences, economics, industrial engineering, or an interdisciplinary programme covering these fields, with an excellent grade point average.

Have at least two years of relevant professional experience.

Be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Have proven development-related motivation and can be expected to make full use of their scholarship and education.
