Role Summary
The Health and Community Development Social Worker is responsible for the welfare of all beneficiaries and the development of their families. The role involves monitoring, follow-up, advice, and providing support to beneficiaries on identified health issues, as well as entering data into the formation system. The HCDSW sets preventive measures against diseases and illnesses in the communities they serve. They also ensure advocacy for children and youth, child abuse prevention, and related responses.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure the welfare of all beneficiaries and the development of their families.

Monitor, follow up, advise, and provide support to beneficiaries on identified health issues.

Enter data into the formation system.

Establish preventive measures against diseases and illnesses in the community.

Advocate for children and youth, including child abuse prevention and response.
Requirements
Education
-
Advanced Diploma in Nursing, Public Health, Midwifery, Clinical Medicine, Mental Health, Social Works, or Development Studies.
Age
-
Between 21 and 40 years old.

Language

Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English, both in writing and speaking.
Technical Skills

Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
