NAEB is seeking highly motivated, qualified, and results-driven professionals to join our dynamic team in the position of Facility Management Engineer

Reporting to: Director of Administration and Finance

Job Summary:
The Facility Management Engineer will be responsible for the efficient management, maintenance, and coordination of all NAEB facilities, including buildings and machinery, ensuring a safe and suitable working environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate integrated facilities management services (cleaning, civil, mechanical, and electrical repairs).
• Manage and work with third-party contractors for civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
• Assist in preparing building maintenance plans and conduct site surveys and inspections.
• Monitor energy consumption and promote efficient use.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve engineering problems.
• Read and review project blueprints and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Prepare reports and document all project and maintenance activities.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil or mechanical works.

Core Competencies:

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in writing, documentation, and analytical reporting.
• Fluency in English and/or French; knowledge of Kinyarwanda is advantageous.
