BRAC International is recruiting an Officer, Branch Accounts & Administration to support finance, accounts, administration, procurement, coordination and programme implementation across its branch offices in Rwanda.
The position is available in branch offices located in Muhanga, Ruhango, Nyanza, Huye, Nyamagabe and Nyaruguru Districts. It is offered on a Regular/Fixed-Term basis, with applications closing on 2 October 2026.
About the Position
The Officer, Branch Accounts & Administration reports to the Branch Manager (BM), with dotted-line reporting to the Assistant Regional Accounts Manager.
The position is responsible for branch-level finance and accounts, procurement, administration, coordination and partnership support. The officer will also contribute to programme implementation, staff capacity development, financial monitoring, stakeholder management and quality assurance.
Key financial responsibilities include banking, cash requisitions, financial reporting, MIS, internal reporting and donor reporting.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in:
- Finance
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Commerce
- Or another relevant field.
Required Skills
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Experience in project management and coordination.
- Experience in supervision and monitoring.
- Knowledge of administration, finance and logistics.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Integrity, credibility and dedication to BRAC’s mission.
Experience Requirements
Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in the national or international development sector, including experience managing finance and accounts for development programmes.
Experience in programmes involving areas such as:
- Microfinance
- Livelihoods
- Education
- Agriculture
- Food security
- Girls’ and women’s empowerment
