HLB Rwanda is seeking Audit/Accounts Interns to join its Audit and Accounts departments. The opportunity is intended for ambitious Accounting and Finance graduates who want to gain practical experience in audit and assurance engagements within a professional and multicultural working environment.
About the Internship
As an Audit Intern, the successful candidates will participate in different audit engagements covering various industry sectors. The internship will provide practical exposure to audit procedures, client interaction, audit documentation and assurance engagements.
Key Responsibilities
The interns will:
- Assist in developing an understanding of audit clients’ businesses.
- Support interaction with clients to collect the necessary data and information.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining audit files.
- Support the preparation of audit leads.
- Support the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements.
- Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures in line with engagement objectives and the planned audit approach.
Qualifications and Competencies
Applicants should:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
- Be pursuing a professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
