The Corporate Contract Management Specialist will provide legal support and advice across RDB activities, including contract drafting, legal analysis and litigation-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes:
- Providing general legal support and advice.
- Drafting contracts and memoranda of understanding.
- Reviewing laws, orders, instructions, regulations and rules relating to RDB activities.
- Supporting the legal analyst in judicial and extra-judicial actions.
- Receiving summons and preparing rebuttal pleadings.
- Liaising with lawyers and the Attorney General’s Office on litigation involving RDB.
- Providing legal opinions on user-department matters, including recruitment, contracts and contract termination.
- Developing and delivering training to improve legal compliance.
- Representing RDB in judicial and extra-judicial proceedings where accredited by the Rwanda Bar Association.
- Representing the division in meetings and conferences when delegated.
Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Law + 1 year of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law + 3 years of relevant experience.
A Diploma in Legal Practice or Legal Drafting is an added advantage.

A recognized procurement professional qualification such as CIPS or CIPP is an added advantage.
