BPR Bank Rwanda plc is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Universal Banker to join its Rutare Branch. The role focuses on delivering excellent banking services, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth.
This position is ideal for professionals with solid experience in banking operations, credit management, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with personal and business clients
- Identify customer financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions
- Drive deposit mobilization and loan origination
- Cross-sell banking products such as loans, credit cards, and investment solutions
- Open, maintain, and manage customer accounts
- Assess loan applications and provide credit advisory services
- Collaborate with underwriting teams for loan approvals
- Provide financial guidance on savings, investments, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and banking regulations
- Assist customers with transactions and digital banking services
- Analyze market trends and customer needs
- Support and mentor junior staff
- Maintain high standards of efficiency, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field (required)
Professional Qualifications (Advantage)
- Banking certification
- MBA
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in:
- Sales
- Credit appraisal and lending
- General banking operations
- Relationship management
Additional Advantage
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
