About the Program
The Jonica Foundation is recruiting young women to become SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights) Ambassadors across Kenya for the 2026 cohort. This program is designed for young women who are ready to lead conversations and drive change in sexual and reproductive health and rights within their communities.
The SRHR Ambassadors initiative empowers young women to become advocates and educators on critical health and social issues affecting women and girls.
Focus Areas
Participants will work on key topics including:

Menstrual health advocacy

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) awareness

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness and prevention

Contraception awareness
-
Menopause education
-
Community impact projects
Ambassador Responsibilities
Selected ambassadors will:

Lead community conversations on SRHR topics

Raise awareness and educate peers

Advocate for better health outcomes

Engage in leadership and personal development
