Position Overview
RMS Ltd is seeking a highly qualified Senior Technical Advisor to lead project implementation, ensuring alignment with work plans, milestones, and deliverables. The successful candidate will oversee technical activities in health supply chain management, including procurement, warehousing, distribution, and data visibility. This role requires strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in donor-funded initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical activities to enhance health supply chain functions (procurement, quantification, warehousing, distribution, and data visualization).
- Drive business development efforts, including proposal writing and donor engagement.
- Supervise a technical team, ensuring alignment with project goals and MEL plans.
- Develop and monitor quality work plans, track milestones, and mitigate risks.
- Provide technical assistance to strengthen leadership and governance in health supply chains.
- Engage with stakeholders (government, donors, partners) to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
- Contribute to strategic planning and review key technical documents.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in health supply chain management.
- Proven experience managing donor-funded projects.
- Strong project management, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
