Job Overview
KFHR is looking for a dedicated and reliable Porter to support logistics, storage, and movement of medical supplies within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cleaning and sanitizing storage and handling areas
- Support movement and organization of medical and pharmaceutical supplies
- Receive, unpack, and verify delivered goods
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized storage spaces
- Assist in stock picking, packing, and dispatch preparation
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Operate basic handling equipment safely (trolleys, tools)
- Dispose of waste according to safety and pharmaceutical standards
- Report hazards, damages, or equipment faults
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and operational procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum A2 certificate in a relevant field
- Training in logistics or inventory management is an advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or similar environments is a plus
Required Skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Strong teamwork and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
