We ensure every child has access to clean drinking water and a nutritious daily lunch, laying the foundation for their holistic development.
Our nursery school in Gashora is a safe haven for young learners, offering them quality education, love, and care. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and we are looking for a Headteacher who shares this vision.
Job Role & Summary
As the Nursery Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our youngest learners. You will lead the nursery school while also teaching the senior nursery class (ages 5-6). This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in Early Childhood Development (ECD) who is passionate about child-centered learning and ready to inspire both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach the senior nursery class (ages 5-6) and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Manage, support, and mentor nursery teachers, teaching assistants, and staff.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents and the community to enhance children’s development and well-being.
- Ensure the nursery school meets national standards for early childhood education.
Skills & Qualifications
- A university degree in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching and managing a nursery school.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Patient, creative, and energetic with excellent classroom management abilities.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
