POSITION SUMMARY
Kigali Marriott Hotel is seeking a skilled Painter to join its maintenance team. The Painter will be responsible for applying paint, stains, and various finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture, and other property surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray tools.
Key duties include preparing surfaces by applying primers or sealers, removing old finishes through sanding, stripping, brushing, or blasting, and protecting surfaces with appropriate coverings. The role also involves proper cleaning and storage of painting materials and collaborating with vendors to adjust paint colors and finishes.
The Painter will be expected to follow all hotel safety and security procedures, report hazards, and complete required training. Professional grooming, confidentiality, and care for company assets are essential. The position requires excellent communication, guest service, teamwork, and physical ability to bend, lift, reach, and use ladders during work activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Certificate
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field
- Supervisory Experience: Not required
- License/Certification: None
