Job Responsibilities
The Human Capital & Social Development Officer will be responsible for monitoring and supporting social development programmes at the cell level.
Key duties include:
- Monitoring the implementation of social programmes responding to citizens’ needs.
Monitoring interventions aimed at preventing and reducing malnutrition and stunting within the cell.
Monitoring activities targeting youth, women and people with disabilities.
Monitoring sports, innovation and talent-identification activities.
Monitoring education and adult literacy interventions.
Monitoring school feeding programmes.
Collecting and consolidating quality data on social, health and education programmes.
Preparing reports using appropriate reporting mechanisms and information management systems.
Monitoring education indicators, including school dropout, enrolment, attendance, teenage mothers and parental participation in school activities.
Monitoring interventions aimed at preventing and eradicating delinquency within the cell.
Monitoring health, hygiene and sanitation interventions.
Supporting the implementation of Early Childhood Development (ECD) programmes.
Conducting community mobilisation campaigns on social affairs, education, health, children’s rights and nutrition.
Identifying eligible beneficiaries using social protection tools and community registers to support sustainable graduation.
Supporting the implementation of District Development Strategies (DDS) and annual action plans related to social and human capital development.
Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
