Job Responsibilities
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for electrical maintenance, equipment servicing and related technical activities, including:
- Carrying out domestic and industrial electrical maintenance.
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel power generators.
- Diagnosing and repairing building equipment, including firefighting systems.
- Designing and interpreting electrical circuits.
- Repairing damaged electrical wiring, including shortages and severed wires.
- Maintaining building HVAC equipment to ensure proper climate control.
- Installing, operating, maintaining and repairing equipment and machines.
- Monitoring the availability of spare parts and replenishing supplies.
- Optimizing equipment efficiency by adjusting equipment and machinery settings.
- Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of equipment and machinery.
- Documenting maintenance processes and maintaining service records.
- Preparing and submitting regular maintenance reports.
Academic Qualifications
The vacancy accepts candidates with zero years of relevant experience who hold one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Renewable Energy
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Technology
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Advanced Diploma (A1) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Advanced Diploma (A1) in Renewable Energy
- Advanced Diploma in Electrical Technology

- Advanced Diploma (A1) in Mechatronics Technology
