Trinity Nyakabingo Mines Ltd is a Wolfram mining company located in Shyorongi Sector, Rulindo District, Northern Province, Rwanda.

The company is recruiting qualified, competent and experienced candidates to fill 10 Plant Operator positions in its Metallurgy Department.

Job Purpose

The Plant Operator will operate and monitor the different stages of the gravity concentration circuit to ensure optimum mineral recovery and product quality while maintaining safety, environmental and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring crushing, screening and gravity separation units, including jigs, shaking tables and spirals.
• Adjusting water flow, feed rates and equipment settings to maintain stable operations and achieve target recovery rates.
• Performing routine checks on pumps, screens, tables, spirals, jigs, conveyors and crushers.
• Ensuring concentrate, middlings and tailings are properly handled and directed to the correct streams.
• Recording hourly readings of feed tonnage, density and recovery data.
• Collecting and correctly labelling samples for analysis.
• Reporting unusual plant behaviour, including surging, blockages and poor recovery.
• Assisting the maintenance team during plant shutdowns.
• Following safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Immediately reporting unsafe conditions, spills or other safety concerns.
• Performing other duties related to plant operations as assigned.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Certificate in a Mining-related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in plant operations, particularly in gravity concentration plants.
• Knowledge of gravity separation principles.
• Knowledge of mineral processing equipment and upgrading processes.
• Basic understanding of pumps, slurry handling and plant operating parameters.
• Basic mathematical and writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Trustworthy and safety-conscious attitude.
