Job Purpose
The Brewing Operator will be responsible for operating brewing processes safely and efficiently while ensuring product quality, improving operational performance, and minimizing production losses. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and ensures compliance with HEINEKEN safety, food safety, and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply HEINEKEN safety, food safety, and sustainability standards in daily brewing operations.
- Support the department’s safety agenda and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure timely supply and basic inspection of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and cleaning supplies.
- Monitor brewing processes and product quality to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Execute 5S, CILT, tagging processes, and apply problem-solving techniques.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and improvement teams.
- Operate brewing equipment according to established procedures and standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and operational reports.
- Report operational deviations promptly to the Shift Brewer.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a process-driven manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (both written and spoken).
